I love to ride the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean because I know Walt has his hands in them. And it just amazes me that 40+ years later and they are still as popular as in the good old days!
  • I am not really a 'ride' person and prefer the shows or interactive attractions more. My favourite ride would be in the Animal Kingdom. I can't remember what it is called...the circular boats that fit about 10 people and is like a river ride. During our visit in April 2008, I was the lucky one on the ride to go down the biggest drop backwards and was SOAKED. Good times!
  • My favorite ride is still the classic Peter Pan's flight!
  • Cheryl
my family's favorite Disney ride is the new Peter pan ride. we loved it! We also love the classics like Pirates of the Caribbean, and It's a small world! Heck we love everything Disney! :)
  • Bridget
This is a tough one. There are favorites in terms of best thrill (Everest, Tower of Terror)... then there are favorites because of the childhood memories associated with them (Star Tours).

But if I had only one ride to go on... I'm gonna have to go with Rockin' Roller Coaster.
  • We love Mickey Mouse ears :). My favorite rides are It's a Small World (Miss the old school version) and California Screaming. My nine year old's favorite ride Ca Screaming. My four year olds favorite is the Donald Roller Coaster in Toon Town. My timid five year olds, the 3-D movie theater and bugland. Where my five year old conquered her fear of the dark and bugs (well at least for ten minutes)

Rockin' Roller Coaster and Space Mountain, in that order.
  • Larry Frievalt
At this time I would have to say the new Pirates. Soem say it was sacreligious but the changes really made the ride fresh.
  • Megan
I have my favorite rides at each of the parks, but if I had to pick a park with the best ride, I would choose Magic Kingdom and the ride is Pirates of the Caribbean. I have always loved that ride ever since I was little. I love that it is a classic ride, but at the same time I am a big fan of the movie additions they put in. I went to the Magic Kingdom in March and we were the first people of the day on the ride. It was awesome!
  • My favorite overall would have to be the Kilimajaro Safari at Animal Kingdom. It's so exciting and you get to be so close to the animals. We took my 81 year old grandpa on it and he loved it too...My second favorite is The Haunted Mansion at MK. :)
  • My favorite coaster is Expedition Everest, but Toy Story Midway Mania holds a special place in my heart. And my favorite show is Fantasmic! followed by Mickey's Philharmagic and the American Idol Experience.
  • Katie
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the Magic Kingdom is my favorite! When I was little, I loved it because it was a roller coaster, but without any terrifying drops, just windy hills. Whenever I ride it now, I swear if you ride at night, it goes faster!
  • Margaret
Definitely the Pirates of the Carribean!!! Love the detail and the way it makes you feel like you are in the middle of it all!! I like the addition of Cap't Jack!! Didn't take away from the original ambiance of the ride. DEFINITELY the best!!
  • Wendy
Splash mountain. Love the story and the music! :-)
  • missnanse
I have so many favorites, but Peter Pan is my absolute all time fave. Flying over London, seeing Big Ben and then the Pirate Ship and the beautiful scenery, Peter and Hook swordplay and tick tock.... so absolutely thrilling...This is the ultimate childrens story that I can go back to every time I visit my second home. Just Wonderful!
  • The Tiki Birds! Magic Kingdom
  • Wendy
I still love the WEDWay PeopleMover and can't seem to call it Tomorrowland Transit Authority. :)

A great continuous ride to just relax after walking the park and give the kids a place to take a break without it seeming like they're missing something.
  • Cara
Test Track at EPCOT!!! Fast, fast, and did i mention fast??
  • My favorite Disney park ride is Space Mountain because this was always the first ride my family went on when we first arrived at MK. When I walk through the line at Space Mountain and approach my rocket ship, I feel like my visit has officially started.
  • Barbara
My favorite ride is any ride I get to go on with my grandchildren
  • Marc Lorenzo
I love Soarin in Epcot and Space Mountain in the Magic Kingdom
  • June
Wow... Favorite ride? Haunted Mansion.... Always find something new to love about it. Really loved the fact I've been backstage there and saw it from "below".
  • Anthony
Carousel Of Progress! I love that ride
  • cstoops17
    My favorite is Space Mountain!!
  • MinervaStar
Last year I totally would have said space mountain, but now my favorit would totally have to be the Rockin Roller Coaster at Disney Studios.
  • Christie
Soarin' is my new favorite, its a great feeling to feel like flying and I like that you can even smell the oranges and trees, its so neat
  • Melissa
My favorite ride Carosel of Progress because it is educational for the whole family. Plus you can just sit in your seat and relax while you learn about past decades.
  • Sheri Paulk
My very favorite is the Haunted Mansion. I have gone to Disney many times and it is a must for me. I always look for changes in the ride or look for details that I have not seen before. I would love to go through the ride with the lights on and see how it all works. It is a very special ride for me.
  • Diana Bossie
Our favorite ride is "It's A Small World." It's a classic and we love it!
  • Randy Spengler
It is so hard to pick a ride, because it is the whole experience. Disney just takes you away from today, and brings back fond memories of the past. And, when you share it with your children or granchildren it is even more special. The hardest thing is leaving on your last day. If I had to pick the rides, it would be Space Mountain, Thundermountain, and Indiana Jones. But the others are so fun and we ride more than once on every trip.
  • Jill Gordon
These days, I just love Pirates of the Caribbean. The upgrades that include Captain Jack Sparrow are so lifelike and are done really well. I enjoy trying to learn the words to "Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me" as we sail through the attraction.
  • Krista
I'm always terrible at picking favorites! But if I had to pick just one I would say Big Thunder Mountain...I can ride it over and over and over and never get sick of it. In fact one time at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party I was able to ride 3 times in a row because there was no one in line and the only thing that stopped me from riding even more beyond that was my poor husband couldn't stomach any more in a row! :)
  • Scott
My favorite ride is most likely Spaceship Earth. It's the one ride that screams "I'm at Disney!" We always will ride this, even though it is always the same (although the recent upgrades are great). After we ride Spaceship Earth, I get that awesome Disney feel.
  • Tom
Mine is the haunted mansion and Pirates.
  • JoePenniston
    Haunted Mansion

  • My favorite ride hands down is The Tomorrowland Transit Authority. If only it was open during my last trip in April:(
It may seem like a strange choice for me, knowing that I love RocknRoller Coaster and the other thrill rides, but for some reason there is nostalgia to this ride.
I remember being a teenager and loving it too! Now, I 'm in my 40's and instilling that love for TTA to my daughters.

Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow!
  • Heather Walsh
lI have always loved the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates of the Caribbean. They are the two rides at the Magic Kingdom I ride over and over, no matter how old I get. I always notice something new :) I were to pick a ride outside of the MK, I would have to pick Tower of Terror. It takes my breath away every time!

I just made my first trip back to WDW in 16 years! My new favorite ride is the Rock N Roller Coaster. I had a great time there and can't wait to visit WDW again!
  • Definitely The Matterhorn! :D
  • Robin Howard
My life long dream finally came true this past February as I visited Disney World for the first time at 36 yrs old. The first ride my friends and I rode on my first day of my first visit was Space Mountain. My friends arranged that I was in the very first seat of the first car. From the first hill climb, I screamed my head off!! Half way through the ride, I could hear my friends behind me laughing hysterically at my screaming which in turn gave me the giggles in between screams. By the time we exited our "rocket" we all had tears streaming down our face and were holding our sides in pain from the the laughter. We rode it again that night after the fireworks and it was just as awesome as the first time. I could not think of a better way to kick off my week of A Milllion Dreams!!
  • Michelle Ferren
There's nothing better than riding Splash Mountain, especially with my son by my side. Nothing can beat the pure exhilaration on his face and the anticipation of who is going to get wetter - hopefully not mommy! It is surely our "Laughing Place". Even though he considers himself a big kid, he still grabs my hand at the top of the last hill right before you get that spectacular view of the briar patch below! Nothing surpasses the magic that WDW brings to families.
  • Oooh, so many...
Disneyland (California): It's a Small World
    California Adventure: Soarin' Over California
Walt Disney World: Pirate of the Caribean
Disneyland (Paris): Sleeping Beauty's Castle (not a ride, but the stained glass windows and the chained dragon are great!)
