Here are the show notes from this week’s MousekeTips.
- Characters In Flight: new balloon ride at Downtown Disney. Will fly up to 400′ high and accommodate up to 30 people, weather permitting. Weather really going to cause havoc with this one, in our humble opinion. The ride was supposed to open last week, but due to some weather issues, the opening has been delayed a bit.
- Paradiso: new dining experience in what used to be part of Pleasure Island to open in May 2009.
- Tren-D: the new shop featuring fashions in the latest trends for women’s clothes with a slight Disney touch, including 85 chandeliers!
- Animal Kingdom Lodge: great restaurants, views of a 33-acre savanna featuring over 100 animals, including their newest resident, a baby Ruppell Griffon Vulture.
- Treehouse Villas: Set to open this summer. Got to see these on our free boat ride from Downtown Disney to Port Orleans-Riverside.
- Tip of The Week: If you’re staying on Disney property for your vacation, buy the souvenir mug and save a ton of $$$ on drinks. You can use this mug throughout your vacation for free refills at the resort.
